Astrologers believe that the planets at the moment  of your birth have key influences on your personality.  In order to calculate your Natal (or birth) Chart you will need to know the Time and Place of your birth.  Most people know their Sun sign (the position in the zodiac that the Sun was in on your birth-date).  The position of all the planets is described in your Natal Chart.

When you were born, each of the planets in the solar system had a precise position in the zodiac.  Your Natal Chart reflects these positions, and the interpretation of your chart yields information about your signs and astrological houses and their influence on you.

Use the sites below to get an overview of you as a person. Many of the sites on the net are similar but these are the best ones I have found for comparison.

Not technically a birth chart as such, an hilarious look at the personality traits of each star sign. Says "Don't read if you can't handle the truth" ... is about accurate. Worth a look for light entertainment!

VedicScholar.com
An excellent free Vedic Birth chart with analysis. You need the usual time and place of birth and also the longitude and latitude of birth place. The analysis provides information on your moon sign, birth star, ascendant sign and transits. Interesting reading.

Free birth charts from Patrick Arundell Astrology. This is a mini version of the paid 'Cosmic Power Reading'. It requires a valid email address for report delivery. This site also has very brief free horoscopes.

Claims a full 15-18 page Free Report - a true birthday horoscope based on the date, time and place of your birth.

Venus Group
This is a site with loads of calculations and reports based on your birth date. Some reports require a valid email address but there are many good charts that will be displayed on the screen to read.
